Going home!

We have completed research flights above Cape Verde on September 18th.

Grisa prepared everything for trouble free measurements during flights back home. We went together to the airport, I took off a bit before Grisa flight to Lisboa.

Somehaw wet start from Mindelo preventing measurements, so I switched on the whole sistem when sky get brighter with no rain. Landing at Gran Canaria was very turbulent due high norderly wind and strong termals. Ash from La Palma vulcano travel south east, but I was faster and missed it. From Gran Canaria visibility was good, not much to measure, except tin layers of dirt approaching Spain. Some weather approached Jerez but rain wait for me to land before.

Last flight back home turned to be more challenging and longer that thought in the early morning in Jerez. Beautiful sky with full moon after rainy night. Weather prediction was quite good for most of the flight only between Barcelona and Valencia were circling some thunderstorms. I had to fly along the gray wall of bad weather and climbed to 6000 m in search for blue. Very long detour almost to the French border on Pyrenees, finally found thin layer between the clouds which enable me to flew into better life over Mediterranean and further on to Slovenia.
