Aerospool, spol. s r.o. develops and manufactures two-seat light sport airplanes and four-seat aircraft. It also offers glider repair/repaint services, such as damaged glider repair, maintenance, modifications according to producer documentation, annual inspections, instruments and other equipment installation, trailer repair and/or repainting, and CFRP/GFRP gliders painting. The company was founded in 1990 and is based in Prievidza, Slovakia.

MT-Propeller Entwicklung GmbH was founded in 1981 by Gerd Muehlbauer and is well known in the world of general aviation as a leading manufacturer of natural composite propellers for single and twin engine aircraft, airships, wind tunnels and other special applications. They have developed special, very light high performance propellers for Rotax engines.

For GLWF research project we have sponsored two blade constant speed MTV-33-1 propeller.

Aerosol d.o.o.

Aerosol d.o.o. develops and commercializes innovative instruments aiming at a better characterization of soot particles. The company was established in 2007 and has grown rapidly in the last 8 years. At present there are 16 employees, of which 6 hold PhDs, designing and producing Magee Scientific Aethalometers, instruments for measurement of black carbon by light absorption. We have cooperated in more than fifteen scientific and development projects and have led eight of these. The research and development group has an academic background, including training and mentoring two PhD students who performed their studies and research while working at Aerosol d.o.o. We cooperate with global leading research institutions within the scope of the development of new aerosol instrumentation and their applications. The new Aethalometer AE33, developed within an Eurostars project through an EUREKA program co-funded by the Slovenian Ministry of Economic Development and Technology, in cooperation with Paul Scherrer Institut (www.psi.ch), has been commercialized with great success. The applied research we perform focuses on source apportionment, especially the discrimination between diesel exhaust and biomass smoke. The prototype which will fly around the world is based on the commercial version of the Aethalometer AE33 with modifications necessary for airborne deployment.
