Weather dictates the pace

Some bad weather is approaching Cape Verde from east, so we could not fly long distance to catch Aeolus Saturday track, as we would return back in night time when some tunderstorms pass Sao Vicente island.

Instead we flew Lidar calibration flight around island where was just one cloud free hole through which NOA and Tropos Lidars could meassure Sahara dust layers in which we flew.
